Frequently Asked Questions

What is an enquiry, how is it different than a deal or contact?

An Enquiry (pl. Enquiries) is also known as a Lead or a Prospect. It is typically a person who has exhibited a preliminary interest in the services or products that you sell. At this stage you do not know what is the timeframe when this person will buy, whether he/she has an approved budget or even if he/she is the right person within the customer organization and can influence or make the purchase.

A Deal (pl. Deals) is also known as an Opportunity. Once an Enquiry or Lead is qualified and you know about the budget, decision time-frame and other aspects of the prospective customer, you can convert an Enquiry into a potential Deal. A Deal has it own set of stages through which it goes before it is either won or lost.

A Contact (pl. Contacts) is also known as a Business Contact. It can be anyone you know and are in touch with professionally. An Enquiry may convert into a Contact at an appropriate stage.

What are key features / functionality / benefits of CRMForOne App?

Does this app work in both online and offline mode?

Yes, of course. The App normally works in offline mode and synchronizes itself with the main CRM server to back-up data once every 15 minutes, provided there is internet connectivity. In case there is no net connectivity, the App will try to back-up the data later.
An important point to note is that the App auto logs out the user once every 24-hours as a security feature. The user can simply re-login into the App, but the App does require network connectivity at the time of re-login. Or in other words, the App can be used in offline mode, but it requires network connectivity at least once every 24 hours.

How frequently are the backups taken?

The App attempts to synchronize data with the CRM Cloud once every 15 minutes. However, if network connectivity is not available or the App is being actively used, the data back-up process is skipped and it is re-attempted in the next sync job that runs automatically every 15-minutes.

You can manually trigger the sync job (from Settings menu option) anytime you want.

Is this App really free? What is the cost / price of this App? How much do I have to pay?

Yes, currently the App is available as a beta-product and is free to download and use. If you are part of the beta program, you can expect the App to remain free for you at least for the next 6 months. Post that, there may be a nominal monthly fees to help us cover our costs of maintaining Cloud back-up service in a tier-4 (and therefore a bit expensive) data centre like IBM or AWS. Of course, if you do not wish to continue, you can keep the App for free without the Cloud data back-up service.

Can I connect this mobile app to my existing CRM or other applications?

Yes, that is possible. CRMForOne App has ready connectors for SugarCRM, SimpleCRM and SuiteCRM.
In addition, there is a possibility of extending your existing enterprise software to your sales team or partners through this App. In this case, the server back-end of CRMForOne App will server as the middle layer that can connect to your existing solution through APIs.
